Oceanographer is an icon celebrating the history of diving. This famous automatic timepiece, dedicated to depth diving was introduced in 1972. The original model is an automatic diving timepiece, equipped with a swivel wreath with details in black and red. The watch earned the nickname "Devil Diver" when Bulova he indicated on the dial of the original model of the 1970s the value of waterproofness in american measure unit "666 feet" instead of the traditional 200 meters.
New Oceanographer, just like the original, is water resistant to up to 666 feet or 200 meters in European measure, and is ISO certified.
